Selection Process
Project Synopsis
Selection for Poster presentation is based on the following Guidelines:
• Evaluation of Entry Form, all required Supplemental Forms, and supporting documents (including comments provided by faculty / institute) illustrating the student's promise as a creative researcher.
• Does the proposal have the Institute / Faculty Advisor Approval?
• Review of the synopsis of the research project
• Does the proposal received come under one of the invited Research Topics.
• Does the proposal meet all eligibility requirements?
• Does the proposal detail a clear methodology for the proposed research?
• Does the proposal have originality and thoughtfulness on the proposed research problem?
• Does the proposal show a thorough understanding of the issues for the proposed research problem?
• A panel of Judge’s from Intel will evaluate all submissions for basic acceptance.
• Evaluation criteria will include significance of the research, thoroughness and accuracy of the research, as well as written expression of the work.
Project Presentation
The short listed proposals in the poster presentations will be selected for the final project presentation based on the following criteria:
• Does the Project made by the team:
o Show a thorough understanding of the issues for the proposed research problem?
o Creatively pursue the research problem it seeks to address?
o Detail a clear methodology for the proposed research?
o Answer a specific question?
• Is the project different from other research already published?
• Does the team meet all deadlines? Does the project have Scientific / Engineering Goals, Creative Ability, Clarity & Thoroughness |
